What to Wear to the Office this Fall

As we approach October, it's safe to say that summer is officially behind us ladies; but mourn it we shall not. Instead we will lift our heads up high, take a deep breath, and welcome this marvelous Fall season with a big smile and open arms.

Office life right around now is probably pretty hectic with everyone pulling it together after summer - and with just under 3 months to reach end of year targets. With all that commotion going on, we assume it might be tricky to find inspiration for stylish office outfits. No matter what goes on ladies, don't forget how empowering it can be to to feel confident and happy with what you're wearing.

As part of The Kill launch photo series, Wael Boutrous helped us style two outfits that can cater to different job environments: one was assembled for more corporate environments and the other for more creative ones. Of course, all the items were sourced from our wonderful network of fashion stores and designers based in Lebanon. In other words, you can hunt down the items and buy them yourself to complete the same look.

The Outfits

Corporate Cool

If you work in such fields as finance, law, or consultancy, the likes are that you have a more serious working environment. You are most likely be bound by 'understood' guidelines of how to dress appropriately to always appear very neat and professional. The first thing most of us think about is a good pant-suit, but we're here to say: don't be afraid to mix it up. A knee-length skirt is always a cool alternative to pants, check out Wael styled it on Serene for this corporate business look.

Creative Clutter

If you have a more creative-based job like in Advertising, Design, or Fashion, then you definitely have a more lax work environment. You are able to dress up and dress down more flexibly - you may even be encouraged to experiment with your office style. We are aware that this outfit is a bit daring, but then again, if you can have flexibility then we say go all the way. Wael styled Serene here with the idea of an Art Director in mind - the outfit is layered and complex, yet bold and confident.
